GIVE RESPECT – GET RESPECT
Judo is not just one of the martial arts, it is an OLYMPIC SPORT since 1964, for 50 years and has a special place in the Olympic family. Despite many people’s idea about judo, it does not involve kicking, punching or hitting anyone at any time. The aim of judo is to mentally and physically outwit the participant’s opponent using skilful techniques, and lays great emphasis on discipline. Therefore more than any other sports judo expects those taking part to show respect for themselves and others. Its very special feature that participants need a partner to practice judo, can effectively improve social skills. We can see the change in every aspect of our children’s life growing in confidence and getting fitter, stronger.
